A shino teabowl with design of two surviving turtles that was produced in Narumi. I was captured by the appearance of the turtles because, in my Chinese culture, they symbolize prosperity and longevity. This teabowl also accompanied by an original wooden box (Narumi is situated in the south of Nagoya in Japan. Today, it’s still an active town that produces textiles and ceramics).
